Hi,

the seller does not clearly imply that the CDG Giraud included in the lot IS from the actual lot. But the fact is that he is implying that the guy was in the Army in 1943 and that he may have received the CDG Giraud.

"Local production" can be a euphemism for "fake" or "unofficial" model you are right. It may be a way to avoid any problem if someone is pointing out that the CDG Giraud included is a fake "Frankenstein" done since the 2000's, as the front/back are taken from the JMF Collections International reproduction model produced since the early 2000's.
