Thanks Ralph
The wall map is actually from a national geographic print from 1959 I believe it has all the information printed on it in the map key.

Genossen,
A DDR map of that size would show this much detail,
As per security requirements.

I'm sick today and not at work, but I was bored so I tried to get some energy and moved some stuff (now I'm dead again). I discovered than I had one more black collar than I thought. I totally forgot that I bought one more infantry early this year.
So here they are my collection of "precious" from 1968-1971, 2 are actually missing on this picture, one nachrichten at my parent's in France and one "modified open collar 1969" which is somewhere in my cave.

Since I have not much else to do. I figured I would introduce myself via the worst quality pictures one can take.
I believe a certain Genosse from the UK SSR will recognize who these belong to, especially the winter FDA set.
I have everything to do a furniture swap on an akm to make a "20 feet away" MPi-KM 72, except for the akm itself. The numbers on the rubber portion of the Type 1 bayonet sheathe are from previous owner.
I intended to buy a Winter FDA set for my birthday earlier this month. Sadly, I realized too late after receiving mine that it was a gen 3 set, not the gen 2. I have only myself to blame, for not strictly stating the distinction in my request to the seller. Despite the product photos on site, it seems my need for a specific size for the top and bottom each lead to only having a gen 3 set available (my best guess). After looking at an older thread here about fake sets, I still cannot decide whether it is original, repro, or mixed. The top has correct size tag, markings inside, etc., but the fabric color inside is quite like a repro. Pants have the "Sturm" tag over correct size tag. If I had an actual quality camera, I would take more pics of it to let the more qualified experts here examine it.
Well, that is all for my humble collection, despite the sweet sickness' best efforts to expand it.

Kraus - First and foremost, welcome to the DDR forum and I am glad you took the time to post some of your collection. There will be some collectors interested with your collection and I hope you get some feedback from your questions.
Does your collecting interests venture in other DDR areas?

Thank you sir for the welcome.
What I have pictured is currently the extent of what my collection is focused towards, but really anything that I come across I will snatch up. I am not much for ebay or overseas ventures, so sadly I have not much in the way of options for obtaining items, especially from other areas. I have one source who has sold me much of what is in the pictures, and I plan to get more from him in the future, depending on supply and other matters.
Some of the items, like the No2 Ammunition bag and the spare canteens, were obtained locally from a gun show that appears every month or so in my hometown. There is usually always something DDR related amongst all the clutter on the seller tables, though it depends on the seller turnout. I hope to find something new come next weekend. I recall seeing a few visor caps last time, in particular one that was possibly the smallest size possible (much to my amusement when I tried it on my melon of a head).
I hope to obtain the last few bits for a certain scale of issue, build a semi-proper rifle, and of course obtain more FDA uniforms (at least the right winter version and another summer set). At some point I will venture into tunics as well (I joke to my soon to be married sister that I will wear one instead of the awful tux design she wants in her wedding).

Kraus - Thanks for your follow up post. No problems in having a small collection at this point. We all at one point had a small collection. I hope in the future you post some of your items as your collection progresses. :-)
