This picture shows the improvised airfield at Cholm, this picture is also from the first part of the battle (snow).  In the foreground we see the so called "Rollbahn"  can be recognized by the vehicles that stand in the snow) that formed the defense line on this part of the city and more distant e can see at least 2 Ju 52 transport planes (one in white and one in normal colours)
