November 4th, 2002 - Although the main site has not seen a lot of updates, the forum has.  New forums were opened on a monthly basis and our membership continues to grow.  This time, however, there is an update to the site - a Firearms of the Wehrmacht section has has been opened - go to in via the link below!

Wehrmacht Firearms

July 12th, 2002 - Rick Lundström carefully researched and meticulous studied work on ribbon bars is being unveiled today.  I believe that the article is the best resource available on the topic, bar none, and I am very proud to have it exclusively at wehrmacht-awards.com, click on the link to get it to it;

Ribbon Bars

June 6th, 2002 - A very detailed article by Scott Pritchett on the Africa Cuffitile has been added to the site!  It's really in depth and very interesting even if cloth items are not your bread-n-butter.  Also, inspired by a very successful thread in the forum I have updated the Eastern Campaign in the East Medal page; this simple medal has a great deal of variations and has proved very interesting to study.

We have opened up a "store", where association items may be purchased.  Please support the site and the forum by purchasing these great items, you can look good and help secure the future of the site at the same time!  But don't take my word for it, the shirts (designed by Calvin Hall) are really awesome, so check them out for yourself!

The Store

Coming up - In the next update look for a humongous article on ribbon bars by Rick Lundström; it is really monumental and will set a new standard for ribbon bar reference work on-line or in book form!

May 23rd, 2002 - Small update - the Driver Proficiency Badge was added to the War Badge section thanks to Stijn David.

April 28th, 2002 - The German Cross section has been updated with two new fakes and new pictures in the Embroidered Section.

April 18th, 2002 - The website has moved to a new server, completely eliminating our bandwidth problems.  Along with it we have some reformatted sections and a new main page.  Also, we have an extensive article on Luftwaffe Awards Documents, by François Saez.

March 1st, 2002 - Several pages have been updated throughout the site, but no major article has been added.  We are still a couple of cuff links articles away from having the complete awards catalog  and these articles are being worked on as we speak.  The Forum has taken up much of my time and resources as it went to a new format - if you are not yet a member, this would be the time to sign up.  There are some big plans in the works which will exponentially increase the resources of the site, and they will be revealed shortly.  This is just an update to let you know that I am here, and still working diligently on this project.

November 25th, 2001 - Today I have posted a very important article - the single most complete resource for information on the German Cross.  The article, written by François Saez and Jacques Calero, contains sections dealing with cases, recipients, fakes, and documents.  Perhaps more importantly it contains crucial manufacturing information and a complete index of makers with pictures for each.  I am unaware of any other article on-line or in book form that contains as much information as it is compiled in this article.

October 14th, 2001 - With this update I present a thorough article written by Scott Pritchett on the Kreta Cufftitle.  It is highly detailed and full of pictures, a good read.  In the next update you may expect a new, immense section of the site completely dedicated to the German Cross - a section written by our friend François Saez.

August 7th, 2001 - The following badges were redone (mostly on pictures from Mark Miller),

Kriegsmarine - Destroyer Badge, Marine Artillery Badge, E-boat Badge, High Seas Badge, u-boat combat badge, U-boat Clasp, Minesweeper's Badge.

July 2nd, 2001 - We have posted the Kriegsmarine Naval Auxiliary Badge and Minesweepers badge (Shawn Rawls), as well as a small write up on the Close Combat Clasp.

With these badges, I am proud to say, the war badges section of the site is complete.  All of the War Badges awarded by the Wehrmacht are covered on the site, although some in more detail than others.  We will now turn to the task of making this already great feat into something even more special..

May 20th, 2001 - The Luftwaffe Honor Goble article by François Saez and Paul Williams was added to the site (a five star article you can't miss).  Also, the Luftwaffe non-portable awards was updated.

April 25th, 2001 - The Balloon Observer Badge (by Shawn Rawls)  and the Kriegsmarine Small Units Badge (by Gordon Williamson) were added, as well as the Luftwaffe non-portable awards page.  In the Members Only Section, an article on the Anti-Partisan badge was added.

February 11th, 2001 - In a long overdue update, we have

Plus, two additional badge pages were complete,

February 1st, 2001 - The forum has been going very well and expanding to include the new e-stand.  Thanks to all who are helping it go forward.  What else is new?  I am working on a new fake Knights Cross page which Andy sent in to us.  Also, the front page has been redone to bring down loading time a bit.  Next week you can expect a new page on the Observer Badge and in the works are the Luftwaffe Flak Badge and the Heer Flak badge.  Stay tuned.  Lastly, we have set up a paypal account so if you would be kind enough to donate, you may do so by credit card (see Contributors Wanted page).

January 25th, 2000; Well I am back, I hope everyone had a nice and safe holiday season.  Our Argentina trip went very well, I got something together for it on my personal site if anyone is interested.  But back to this site, I'll be working this week here to get some more updates.  For now I have a couple of small things, there is a Schickle Iron Cross 2nd Class in that section and new pictures in the Knights Cross Tech section.

Dear Readers of this Site,

I would like to let you know that in the next 2 weeks the site will be updated sporadically, and from Christmas until the middle of January not at all.  The reason for this is that I am going to Argentina for 3 weeks, and getting married while there on January 7th.  If you care to learn more about our wedding(s), please see our "Seba and Toni's wedding" site.  Please send all wedding presents to my house :)

The forum will continue to operate as usual and will be monitored by my friend Jody.  I apologize in advance for the lack of updates.  Happy Holidays to all!

                                                                                                                                            Sincerely

                                                                                                                                            Sebastian Bianchi

December 18th, 1999 - There is an update this week, the E-Boat Badge page was created by David Tiffin (thank you David!), and the Infantry Assault Badge page was updated. That page is becoming one of my favorites actually, it seems it's updated weekly.

December 5th, 1999 - The Cuff Title section was opened with the Kreta Cuff Title as the first page in that section to be open.  New pictures added to the Infantry Assault Badge (3rd week in a row).  Finally, a new main area of the site, the Document Section, was officially inaugurated (though there is not much in there yet).

November 26th, 1999 - The Panzer Badge was opened.  The General Assault Badge page was updated, as was the Infantry Assault Badge (for the 2nd Week in a row).  The Hindenburg Cross page was updated to include a document.

November 21, 1999 - There are now sections on the Dealers Forum for each dealer where you can see some selected feedback.  In the War Badges section, the General Assault Badge section was created and the Infantry Assault Badge section was updated with new pictures.  In the Iron Cross Section, the 2nd and 1st Class sections were updated with new pictures, as was the Knights Cross, a Buyers Guide.

November 14, 1999 - The new update for the new site.  There is a new forum on the site, which is much cleaner than the last one.  There are also two new pages on the Collectors Corner, The Knights Cross, a Buyers Guide page, which is a great article by Andy Hopkins, and the Featured Collection page.  Also the German Cross section was redone both to include pictures sent from Philipe in France and to allow for faster download.

November 5th, 1999 - Welcome to the new site, please book mark the new url.  All of the pages of the site have been moved, they were all also reviewed and most were updated.  Several sections such as the Wounds Badge and War Badges section have a new layout all together.  Please take a couple of minutes and get to know the site again.

We are now ready to grow.  Plans include expansion of the "fakes" section, and the new "Featured Collection" page in the Collector's corner.  Of course I also wish to continue chiseling away at the unfinished sections such as the War Badges section.

I once again extend my invitation to those collectors who may be able to help this site by writing articles, and I wish to sincerely help all those who have sent in pictures.  I hope you enjoy this new chapter of the site.
